Moving from several separate tools to one piece of software: what to expect

Most salons we meet already use some software, just scattered across several tools.

Switching software sounds like starting over. In practice, most salons we talk to are not moving off paper, they are moving off a booking app, a separate till, and a spreadsheet for loyalty, three tools that were never meant to work together in the first place.

The real starting point is rarely paper

Recognizing that you already have digital habits, an online booking tool clients know, a till your staff is used to, matters: it means the change is about connecting what already works, not teaching everyone from zero.

What actually moves, and what does not have to

Client lists, appointment history and current package balances can move across. What does not need to change is how staff already work day to day, the goal is fewer tools, not a different way of doing the same job.

A realistic timeline

Migration is planned around your salon's calendar, not the other way around, so it does not mean closing for a day or running two systems in parallel for weeks.

Talk to us about migrating your current setup: get in touch, or see what changes on our features page.
