Belgian solarium rules, enforced automatically

Legal delays, session durations, phototypes and age limits are built into the booking flow and the POS: your salon stays compliant without anyone having to think about it.

Phototype, signed and stored

Before a first session the customer's skin type is assessed and signed online, timestamped. A duration matrix then sets the exact length allowed for each phototype, at every step of the tanning plan.

Records auto-expire after the legal retention period, so GDPR is respected by default.

Solaryx customer profile form

The eID reader that knows your customers

Insert the Belgian identity card and the profile fills itself. Age limits are verified against official data instead of a guess at the counter, and nobody types anything.

When the law changes, Solaryx changes with it

New rules apply from their effective date and active appointments are re-checked automatically, without rewriting history. Regulatory updates are included: no extra invoice, nothing to install.

Belgian Compliance

Belgian Regulation Built-In

Delays, durations, phototype, age: the legal rules live inside the booking flow and the POS, not in a note taped to the counter.

Belgian eID Card Reader

The card fills the profile itself: name, birth date, photo, address, national number, expiry. Expired cards are flagged at the next visit.

Legal Delays, Duration & Age Limits

Minimum delay, maximum duration per phototype and minimum age are enforced at booking and at the POS, with extra margins if you want them. When a rule blocks slots, the page explains why instead of showing an empty calendar.

Operator Certification Tracking

The Tanning Bed Operator certification (IFAPME) is tracked per employee, so proof is at hand for inspections.

Ready Beyond Belgium

Legal rules are defined per country, and accounting localizations cover every EU member state.

Phototype Assessment & Online Signature

The score builds up answer after answer, so the result is never a surprise, and the signed assessment prints on the spot.

Frequently asked questions

We do, at no extra cost. Any new legal requirement (session durations, verifications, Belgian obligations) is built into the product and reaches you through the included updates. Same beyond the law: when several salons ask for the same thing, we build it once and everyone gets it.

In Europe, in line with GDPR. Sensitive data (phototype, ID, session history) is protected and never sold.

The rule is checked everywhere a session can start: online, at the POS, for walk-ins. If the legal delay is not respected the sale is blocked, and your staff sees the date of the last session.
